Marketing Operations & Governance Senior Specialist

About The Role
This role supports the delivery of operational risk, governance, and compliance across Brand & Customer Experience (B&CX;), ensuring platform usage, reporting, and decision-making align with enterprise standards, regulatory obligations, and strategic guardrails. You’ll work closely with the Operational Lead to drive uplift initiatives and operational priorities—making up around 80% of your focus.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Operational Lead to deliver uplift initiatives and manage risk and compliance activities.
- Provide strategic support in operational risk and governance across marketing platforms.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory obligations.
- Oversee operational risk reporting, control hygiene, and audit readiness.
- Liaise with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to resolve incidents and control gaps.
- Drive continuous improvement in operational processes using data insights.
- Develop and implement governance frameworks for platform usage and vendor engagement.
- Support planning and prioritisation of operational initiatives aligned with strategic goals.

About You
- Bachelor of Marketing or related discipline (Mandatory)
- 5+ years in a marketing team
- Experience delivering campaigns across digital, 1:1, and traditional channels
- Agency experience or briefing creative/media agencies
- Marketing campaign production process knowledge
- Operational systems/process improvement
- Supplier/vendor management
- Marketing effectiveness and efficiency delivery
- Regulated environment experience
- Exposure to marketing operations or digital transformation
- Audit or assurance background (highly desirable)
Skills & Capabilities
- Product Ownership or Project Management
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Solid understanding of marketing’s role in revenue generation
- Operational risk and governance frameworks expertise
- Stakeholder mapping and process design
- CX experience (desirable)
