Diagnostic Technician
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Diagnostic Technician to join our busy service department. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:06 pm (38 hours per week), with overtime available when required.
The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical issues across multiple vehicle brands, ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform accurate diagnostics and complex repairs across multiple vehicle brands.
* Utilize manufacturer diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve faults.
* Assist and support apprentices and fellow technicians when required.
* Maintain accurate records and uphold workshop safety and compliance standards.
* Contribute to a high-performing team through efficiency, productivity, and professionalism.
About You
* Qualified Automotive Technician/Mechanic (Cert III Light Vehicle).
* Experience working with current franchise brands (experience essential).
* Strong diagnostic and electrical fault-finding experience preferred.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Current NSW driver's licence.
* Australian permanent residency or citizenship preferred.
