As a Family Violence Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults affected by family violence. You will provide information, assessment, and intervention services to help individuals recover from their experience of family violence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist adults to recover from family violence through the provision of information, assessment, phase 1 counselling, referrals, and other appropriate forms of therapeutic intervention.
">
* Provide information and support, referral, and advice to clients and other service providers.
">
* Identify, develop, and provide services required to meet the needs of adults, children, and young people affected by family violence.
">
* Liaise with other relevant program areas to ensure coordination of services, including other Safe at Home service providers.
">

Required Skills and Qualifications
">
To be successful in this role, you will need to have demonstrated knowledge and understanding of family violence and its impact on adults, children, and young people. You must also have the ability to work effectively with adults, children, and young people with complex needs and apply appropriate models of intervention.

Eligibility
">
To be eligible for this role, you must hold an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification or program of study and be registered with the relevant National Board. You must also have a current Working with Children Registration.
