You'll be supported with a dedicated allowance to cover the cost of essential podiatry tools and equipment. This ensures you have the resources needed to deliver high- quality care, including toenail cutting, treatment of foot corns and callouses, and basic foot care, without out-of-pocket expenses.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Podiatrist at Super Rehab, you'll support older adults to improve their independence, and quality of life — all in the comfort of their homes.
Your day-to-day work will include:
* Conducting thorough podiatric assessments focused on skin and nail health, foot structure, pressure points, and overall foot hygiene.
* Developing and delivering personalised foot care plans, including toenail trimming, debridement of corns and callouses, and preventative care strategies to maintain foot health.
* Providing expert advice on foot care management, including skin integrity preservation, and strategies to prevent complications such as infections or ulcerations.
What a Typical Day Looks Like
* Start by checking your daily visits and packing any tools or equipment.
* Travel to your first client's home, provide therapy or assessments, and recommend solutions to promote safety and independence.
* Complete notes and reports during the day to stay on top of your documentation.
* Connect with your colleagues online or in person to share ideas and support.
* End your day feeling fulfilled, knowing you've made a real difference.
What We're Looking For
* Podiatry degree (essential)
* AHPRA Registration (essential)
* Prior aged care and/or disability experience (desirable)
* Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance (essential)
* Current Driver's Licence + access to your own vehicle (essential)
