We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Officer to join our team to ensure our venues operate safely, efficiently, and at their best. This role plays a critical part in keeping our Red Hill and Seaford locations running smoothly, maintaining our buildings, plant, equipment, and grounds to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, as well as excellent problem‑solving skills.
About the opportunity
- Perform general and specific maintenance tasks, including minor repairs (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and equipment servicing)
- Schedule and complete preventative maintenance to minimise downtime
- Inspect facilities, equipment, and grounds, identifying and rectifying potential issues
- Coordinate with external contractors when needed
- Maintain stock, tools, and accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance across all venues
- Support the team with operational and facilities tasks as required
About you
- Proven experience in maintenance or facility management
- Strong problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair
- Robust knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and collaborate with team members
- A proactive and solution‑focused approach to maintenance and facility management
