Job Title: Allied Health Service Assistant
Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Allied Health Service Assistant to join our team. As an Allied Health Service Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality clinical services to clients in Residential Aged Care settings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering a consistently high standard of clinical service to clients.
* Conduct clinical and administrative duties as required.
* Transport residents to and from therapy sessions under the direction of physiotherapists or occupational therapists.
* Set up and pack away therapy equipment, including cleaning the area and equipment.
* Collect referrals and perform other administrative tasks guided by physiotherapists.
* Order prescribed equipment and assist with running exercise groups/programs.
* Support initiatives to meet client expectations and consult with physiotherapists on adaptations/changes/progressions of treatment plans.
* Participate in mentoring, supervision, and appraisals according to company policies and procedures.
