The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health Service at the Department of Health Tasmania provides tertiary level antenatal and postnatal mental health services for women and infants in southern Tasmania.
This team works to ensure optimal outcomes for consumers, their infants, carers, stakeholders, and the community through high-level clinical leadership and effective research and quality improvement activities.
As a Nurse Practitioner, you will draw upon your professional competencies to improve clinical service outcomes and participate in statewide and national research, publication, and education. You will be responsible for leading, advising, and mentoring other nurses and clinicians to achieve high-level clinical excellence.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
* Demonstrated extensive clinical experience and advanced clinical competencies as an endorsed Nurse Practitioner.
* Holistic nursing expertise in clinical judgement, assessment, and management of acute risk for vulnerable families.
* Problem-solving, conceptual, and analytical skills with the ability to make independent or collaborative judgements.

This is a fixed-term, part-time position working up to 38 hours per fortnight, as soon as possible for approximately twelve months. Salary: $144,146 per annum (pro rata). Employer contribution to superannuation is included.
