Your New Role
Reporting to the Yard Manager
Safe operation of machinery is crucial to sort, grade, and purchase metals efficiently. Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Load & unload trucks, skip bins and trailers.
* Operate equipment, including material handler and other plants (where licensed).
* Ensure customers receive a high level of service.
* Grading and sorting materials.
* Maintaining site and associated activities to comply with environmental guidelines while demonstrating personal responsibility and commitment to OH&S policies and procedures.
To Be Successful In This Opportunity, You Will Have:
* Forklift (LF) license - would be an advantage.
* Ability to work independently.
* A can-do attitude, open to undertaking training in order to diversify your skills.
* Excellent attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.
