Appointment Type: Full time, fixed-term role until December 2026 Location: Macquarie University, North Ryde Hybrid working arrangement The Role We are seeking an experienced Master S chedul er to manage the integrated plan for the delive r y of multiple projects within a student CRM (Salesforce) platform implementation Program. The role is an excellent opportunity to play a lead in a key Program in Macquarie University’s d igital t ransformation. You will report directly to the Governance Project Manager. Digital Transformation is one of the six fundamental commitments of the Macquarie University Operating Plan: to embrace emerging technologies to better connect, engage, and collaborate. The core focus of th e University’s d igital t ransformation s trategy is enabling the objectives of Students First through five key focus areas, seeking to drive excellent experiences and outcomes in every dimension of students’ interactions with the University. The Student 360 Program will deliver a student CRM (Salesforce) platform that will realise our ambitions for end-to-end student engagement and service delivery, and allow the University to: Provide a unified, 360-degree view of each student that will enhance our ability to engage with them (including privacy protections and controls); Support the transformation of business processes, providing identification of opportunities for improved services to students and support service delivery; Enable context-specific services and personalisation to successfully support students throughout their journey; Provide a contemporary technology platform that can evolve with the changing needs and aspirations of the University and to truly connect with our students as individuals; Gain insights and analytics across the whole student journey, to provide better metrics and inform improvements of University services and experience; and Replace and decommission legacy systems. You will support the Governance Project Manager and Program Manager to ensure the successful, on time deliver y of a priority Program within the Macquarie University digital transformation strategy. The Master Scheduler role will be focused on tracking all aspects of each project, ensuring deadlines are met, and communicating progress to team members and stakeholders. About You You will be a self-starting individual with excellent work organisation, time management skills and ability to work under pressure. You will have strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, excellent communication skills and experience with project management software. Experi ence in Higher Education or Salesforce implementations will be highly regarded. You will enjoy working in a dynamic environment, applying a methodical and consultative approach in your work, and be motivated to deliver work outputs that are of a consistent ly high quality. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and principles, and hands-on experience with project management software, to effectively schedule and monitor project activities. Ability to ensure alignment of integrated project/program plans across functions. Excellent analytical skills to accurately estimate project timelines, identify potential scheduling conflicts, and recommend solutions. Detail-oriented nature to closely track project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and adjust schedules as needed. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with project teams, clarify task assignments and ensure accurate and timely recording of project details. Communicate project/program status to stakeholders and provide forecasts regarding project completion. Problem-solving skills to address unexpected delays or changes in project schedules. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project schedules simultaneously. Knowledge of risk management to forecast potential schedule risks and develop contingency plans. Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or other project scheduling software. Previous experience on a CRM platform implementation, specifically Salesforce, highly regarded. * This position requires a criminal record check and working rights in Australia.
