Your Impact
Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a key role in supporting Newmont Tanami's mobile maintenance team, with multiple opportunities available across site. You'll be responsible for refuelling, shift servicing and scheduled servicing activities that keep the mobile fleet and plant equipment operating safely, reliably and efficiently
As Part Of Our Team, You Will
Carry out refuelling, shift servicing and scheduled servicing of plant and mining equipment
Assist trades with servicing, maintenance and repair activities as directed
Conduct visual inspections and identify equipment defects or non-conformances
Ensure lubricant sampling and refuelling activities meet OEM and environmental standards
Maintain accurate servicing and maintenance records in line with site requirements
Source technical information from OEM manuals and service documentation
Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised workshop and work areas
Participate in safety meetings, pre-starts and toolbox talks
Follow all site safety, tagging and isolation procedures
Actively contribute to continuous improvement and safe work practices
Prerequisites for your success in this role
Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Previous experience in mining or heavy industry (desirable)
Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental compliance
Ability to complete safety tasks such as JHAs, SafeChecks and inspections
Current Australian driver's licence
Ability to read and interpret OEM service manuals
Good communication skills and accurate record keeping capability
Physically fit and able to meet pre-employment medical requirements
Willingness to learn and develop through on-the-job training
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Comfortable working underground
Mask fit ready

FIFO 8 days on / 6 days off roster – Day Shift and Night Shift rotation
Reside in our fully equipped accommodation village
Approved point-of-hire locations: Darwin, Alice Springs, Perth and Brisbane
