Carnival Corporation & plc is excited to announce: We are hiring a Port Operations Manager to join our Port Operations Team. This full-time permanent position will be based in the Chatswood, Sydney and report directly to the Senior Director, Port Operations. In this role, you will lead and coordinate port operations across the South Pacific Region. This role supports Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Holland America Line and Seabourn, ensuring operational excellence across port logistics, agency management, infrastructure development and regulatory compliance. You'll play a central role coordinating seamless interactions between our vessels and the ports they visit – ensuring every arrival and departure is executed safely, efficiently and in line with company standards.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Manage all port agents across the region
* Oversee port logistics and liaise with port authorities and agents at all ports of call
* Coordinate supply logistics with purchasing and logistics teams
* Oversee port infrastructure and ensure compliance with safety, security, public health and environmental standards
* Drive cost effective operations across all port activities
* Maintain port information databases and cruise status reports for Carnival group vessels
* Foster strong relationships with vendors, government bodies and port personnel
* Act as the operational subject matter expert across cross functional teams
About You:
You're a highly capable and adaptable professional with excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills. You thrive in fast paced, multi tasked environments, consistently meeting tight deadlines while maintaining a sharp eye for detail and precision in your work. Your decision making is grounded in the day-to-day operations of the business with a clear understanding of how this contributes to the long-term strategic goals. You're flexible and reliable, available to work weekends, after hours or on short notice to keep operations running smoothly.
To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated:
* 3+ years shoreside operations experience
* Experience in quality assurance is a must
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Exceptional organisation, interpersonal and communication skills
* High attention to detail and commitment to outstanding customer service
* Strong analytical skills and independent problem solving ability
* Operational experience preferably in the cruise industry
