Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled advertising specialist to join our team. This role is integral to our business, with responsibility for managing the promotion and advertising campaigns related to the properties under our management. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with real estate agents, the executive team, and clients, to prepare ad-copy, social media materials, and traditional media advertisements to achieve our clients' goals. They will assess competitors' advertising campaigns and respond to developments in the greater industry to update their knowledge of advertising principles as the industry evolves.
Responsibilities
· coordinating the design of advertising materials including artwork and script;
· drafting and finalising ad-copies for properties;
· arranging of printing and distribution of advertising materials;
· designing, scheduling and implementing advertising campaigns for leasing properties;
· working with agents to ensure marketing and advertising materials are executed regularly and deadlines are met punctually;
· planning, scheduling and posting social media and advertising collateral;
· analysing effectiveness of advertising campaigns of competitors and identifying gaps or improvements in approach;
· evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness of company initiative and processes;
· advising management on campaign results and suggest improvements;
· conducting brand promotional activities by utilising various media platforms to enhance brand presence;
· attending office meetings and undergoing professional training;
· training of new staff members as required; and
· any such other duties as reasonable required from time to time by the Managing Director or Agency Manager of The Leasing Agency.
Qualifications
In order to apply for this role, you must have, at minimum, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Applicants that do not meet these requirements will not be considered.
· relevant degree or at least five (5) years of experience in a similar role;
· minimum two (2) years of experience managing social media platforms;
· excellent communication, problem solving and rapport-building skills;
· sound knowledge of advertising principles and practices;
· familiarity with project management software such as Asana and Trello;
· strong creative capabilities with excellent visual design sense;
· proficiency in digital design software, including adobe suite, InDesign, Canva, and Final Cut Pro X; and
· solid understanding of the commercial real estate leasing market.
