A temporary part‐time position commencing 1 July 2026 until 30 June 2027. This Australian Defence Force funded position provides support to students from Defence Force families. The successful candidate will assist students in building community links, developing resilience, reducing anxieties and achieving quality academic and social outcomes.
Essential Selection Criteria
* Commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
* Demonstrated ability to empathise and work with young people.
* Appropriate qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant experience.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Proven ability to recognise confidential issues and treat them with required sensitivity.
* Demonstrated high level of communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people (students, school principal, staff, parents, Defence members and their families).
* Highly developed organisational skills.
* Ability to work under limited direction.
