We are on the lookout for a reliable, motivated Farm Hand to support our day-to-day operations across livestock management, property maintenance, and general farm work at our Woodstock farm. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, getting their hands dirty, and being part of a team that takes pride in doing things right.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Assist with daily livestock care – feeding, watering, and health checks
* Help maintain fences, troughs, paddocks, sheds and irrigation
* Support pasture management and feed runs
* Operate and maintain basic farm equipment (under supervision)
* Follow directions from the owner and work to daily plans
* Keep accurate time records via the Workforce app
* Work safely and responsibly in a team setting
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working on a cattle or mixed farming property (preferred)
* Horseman / Horsewoman – skilled with horses.
* Comfortable handling livestock and using farm tools or machinery
* Physically fit, with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Able to take direction and work both independently and in a team
* Basic understanding of farm safety and willingness to learn
You’ll Need:
* A current Driver’s Licence (essential)
* Machinery or tractor experience (desirable)
* First Aid Certificate (desirable but not essential)
What to Expect:
* Outdoor, hands-on work in all weather conditions
* 10 designated farm days per month (full-time equivalent)
* Each day starts on-site unless part of a feed run
* Overtime only by prior approval
