Estimator
Full time Position
We're seeking a trade-qualified Estimator to join General Building Co. in a hands-on quoting role across small to mid-sized residential projects and residential and commercial maintenance works. You'll attend site visits, meet clients, assess scope, and prepare clear, accurate quotes using our digital tools and systems. This role involves representing GBC as the first point of contact, gathering detailed information, providing practical advice, and ensuring quotes meet Queensland compliance requirements. Once a quote is approved, you'll hand the project over to our site supervisor. This position suits someone with strong practical building knowledge, experience scoping and quoting, and confidence managing multiple jobs while maintaining high standards of communication, detail, and client care.
Location:
Gold Coast and surrounds.
Experience Level:
Trade-qualified, ideally carpentry, with experience quoting residential or maintenance projects and strong practical building knowledge suited to Queensland standards.
Key Skills:
Strong scoping and quoting ability, confident with clients, solid NCC and QBCC knowledge, organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple quotes efficiently.
