We’re hiring an AI Engineer to be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and AI solutions across our healthcare product portfolio to help deliver against our AI and business strategy. You’ll play an integral role in the launch of new standalone AI-powered experiences and help to shape a scalable capability across the Magentus group. This is a unique opportunity to: Apply Generative AI to solve core challenges in healthcare, especially in the areas of intelligent data transformation and the automation of complex business processes. Implement scalable AI systems that align with Magentus’ strategic goals Contribute to product development lifecycle, ensure high-quality delivery of AI solutions, and be a SME about emerging technologies in the AI space. What you’ll do Develop AI-Powered Solutions: Design, build, and implement end-to-end solutions using Generative AI to address key business challenges, with a focus on intelligent data transformation and business process automation. Engineer Data-Centric Workflows: Architect and maintain scalable, robust workflows that ingest, process, and enrich complex data by applying AI and machine learning models. Oversee Application Lifecycle & Deployment: Own the full lifecycle of AI applications, from prototyping and development to deployment, scaling, and production management in a multi-cloud environment (AWS and GCP). Ensure Solution Quality and Reliability: Establish and govern frameworks for validating the output of AI systems, defining and tracking metrics to ensure high standards of accuracy, reliability, and safety are consistently met. Drive AI Best Practices: Implement and manage MLOps/LLMOps principles to ensure version control, reproducibility, and continuous monitoring of deployed applications. Support knowledge-sharing and mentorship efforts within the team and across departments. What we’re looking for Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a software or data engineering role, with at least 1-2 years of focused, hands-on experience building with LLMs or Generative AI. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., Pandas, Pydantic) for data manipulation and processing. Experience with major cloud provider's AI/ML offerings (AWS Sagemaker, Google Cloud AI Platform). Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering fundamentals. Experience working in a collaborative software development environment using Git and agile methodologies.
