Your new role
As the Business Assurance Manager, you'll lead a structured assessment of the enterprise data warehouse and BAU/Operations functions-covering architecture, ETL pipelines, modelling, reporting, and governance. You'll evaluate team performance against KPIs and SFIA, review cloud migration strategies (e.g. Teradata→BigQuery), interoperability frameworks, and security compliance, and recommend workforce optimisation, skills uplift, and resourcing. You'll partner closely with leadership to align capability with strategic goals and funding priorities.
What you'll need to succeed
* Experience in data architecture/warehousing/analytics leadership
* Proven experience assessing technical teams and workforce capability
* Deep knowledge of cloud data platforms, governance, and security frameworks
* Strong grasp of data modelling, ETL, metadata, Cognos/Power BI
* Familiarity with aged‑care data flows and integrations (e.g. SIEBEL, Salesforce, Services Australia)
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, clear communication, and cross‑functional collaboration
* SFIA L6+ desirable; government health data and relevant certifications are highly regarded.
