Key Role in Education Delivery
The role of the Education Services Coordinator plays a pivotal part in facilitating the delivery of education services and programs within a correctional centre.
Based at St Heliers Correctional Centre, the primary responsibilities include coordinating the delivery of education programs and services, as well as supervising the Assessment and Planning Officer.
Core Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to plan the delivery of education and vocational training programs
* Coordinate the delivery of assessment and planning services to offenders, including identifying priority inmates and allocating and monitoring team caseloads
* Contribute to offender case management by providing regular reports on offenders' learning progress and achievement
* Monitor the quality of recording and reporting of offender participation in education and training programs
Required Skills and Qualifications:
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently and efficiently, and possess proficient communication skills. Intermediate technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and records management software, are also essential.
A current driver's licence is required for this role.
