Join a national company in a brand new opportunity as a Payroll Systems Compliance Administrator
Join a thriving national organisation based in Shepparton - Regional Victoria as the part time specialist driving payroll system integrity and compliance. You'll ensure TANDA, Micropay, ELMO and integrated platforms deliver faultless pay runs that fully reflect Awards, EBAs and legislative changes.
What you'll be doing
* Maintain and configure payroll platforms (TANDA, Micropay, ELMO & CheckWorkRights) to align with Fair Work, superannuation, Awards and Enterprise Agreements
* Monitor legislative and Award updates, translate to system rules and test changes prior to go-live
* Reconcile and audit high-risk payroll data-ordinary hours, overtime, leave loading, meal breaks and super-to identify and resolve discrepancies
* Collaborate with Payroll Officers to investigate time-and-attendance anomalies and ensure corrective action
* Build and deliver training sessions for payroll teams, HR managers and external stakeholders on system updates and compliance best practices
* Partner with IT and vendor support to plan and implement system enhancements, new feature roll-outs and integrations
* Develop and maintain a robust payroll governance framework, including controls, risk registers and audit schedules
* Extract, analyse and report on payroll trends, KPI dashboards and ad-hoc data requests for senior management
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives-review processes, document SOPs and champion automation opportunities
What you'll bring
* Minimum 3-5 years' hands-on payroll systems experience (Micropay & TANDA essential; ELMO or similar HRIS highly desirable)
* Deep understanding of Australian payroll legislation, Award interpretation and EA compliance
* Proven track record in system configuration, change management and internal audits
* Exceptional analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and data-validation expertise
* Strong communicator and facilitator-confident in one-on-one coaching and group training
* Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
* High integrity and discretion when handling confidential employee data
* Tertiary qualification in Business, HR, Accounting or related discipline (advantageous)
