The Fleet Maintenance Manager is accountable for minimizing vehicle downtime, contributing to high service standards, safety outcomes, and fleet readiness for daily operations. This position upholds WHS, Chain of Responsibility (COR), NHVR, and Main Roads WA obligations through documented maintenance activities, reporting, and required standards.
This role oversees the servicing, repairs, inspections, and roadworthiness of all fleet assets including prime movers, trailers, and refrigerated units. A structured maintenance program ensures fleet availability meets daily operational needs and strategic planning requirements.
The Fleet Maintenance Manager is responsible for monitoring contractor agreements, maintaining compliance documentation, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring full compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR), NHVAS, Main Roads WA, and applicable WHS and transport safety regulations.
