We are seeking an experienced Events Manager to join the Business Development & Marketing team. This role is responsible for the planning, coordination and end‐to‐end delivery of internal and external events. The role oversees the full events program, ensuring all functions are well executed, cost effective and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Planning and coordinating client and staff events, including managing guest lists, venues and facilities, briefing vendors and suppliers, and preparing post‐event analysis.
* Managing event delivery on the day, ensuring all events run smoothly and proactively resolving any issues that arise.
* Developing and implementing promotional activities to maximise event awareness and engagement.
* Preparing, managing and tracking event budgets, ensuring costs are monitored and approvals are obtained as required.
* Sourcing, negotiating with and managing relationships with new and existing vendors and suppliers.
* Reporting on event performance, with a focus on attendance, feedback insights and recommended follow‐up activities.
Qualifications
* Proven experience working in a similar role in a professional services environment.
* Significant experience in event planning and coordination.
* Familiarity working in professional services or law firm is advantageous.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem‐solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Flexibility to work out of office hours if needed.
