The opportunity

We’re hiring a permanent Senior Security Engineer to develop and maintain advanced detection and automation capabilities. You will work on SIEM engineering, automation playbooks, threat hunting tools, while mentoring team members and driving innovation.


What you will do

* Develop and maintain detection rules, dashboards and frameworks that elevate intrusions for human response.
* Build requirements for log onboarding, maintain CIM and data acceleration strategies.
* Design and maintain SOAR playbooks and automation frameworks.
* Maintain SIEM and related systems (Asset & Identity, Risk-Based Alerting, QA).
* Collaborate with cyber defence teams and mentor junior engineers.
* Lead initiatives to remove operational toil and improve CICD pipelines.
* Implement automation for threat intel ingestion and correlation.
* Develop tools and queries for advanced threat hunting.


What we are looking for

* 5+ years in SOC engineering or detection engineering roles.
* Strong coding skills (Python, PowerShell, or similar).
* Experience with SIEM (Splunk, QRadar, etc.) and SOAR platforms.
* Knowledge of data modeling, CIM, and log onboarding processes.
* Experience with threat hunting and exposure management tools.
* Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
* Relevant certifications such as Splunk Certified Architect, GIAC GCIA, or similar.
* Experience working within SAFe or Agile delivery frameworks.
