About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting midwifery practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- Apply advanced clinical midwifery expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of woman, neonate, and family centred care.
- Respond appropriately to, and provide support and direction to manage, sudden alterations in the woman's and or neonates' health status using advanced midwifery assessment and intervention skills.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Schedule 8, Nurses, and Midwives (Queensland Health and Department of Education) Certified Agreement (EB11) (2022) - Midwifery Generic Level Statements (GLS) Midwife Grade 6 Band 1 and the Queensland Health and Metro North Health's commitments and values, in achievement of the organisational goals and Domains of Practice.
