Become a beacon of hope and compassion We are searching for heartfelt, empathetic, and dependable individuals who cherish the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our cherished ageing clients, helping them stay independent and dignified in the comfort of their own homes. This is a qualifiedpart-timerole that requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per fortnight, and you must have availability of at least three weekdays per week during daytime hours.
This role will see you supporting clients inBlackburn, Boxhill, Burwood East, Mitcham, Mont Albert and surrounding communities.
Home Care Worker - key responsibilities may include (depending on client needs):
* Assisting with personal care, such as showering, grooming, toileting and mobility assistance
* Performing household tasks to maintain a safe and tidy space, such as vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and laundry
* Preparing meals and assisting with grocery shopping
* Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and shared living spaces
* Providing social support and transport to appointments and community activities
* Monitoring client wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns
* Respecting each clients preferences, cultural background, and values
Home Care Workerrole requires:
* Cert IIIIndividual Support,Cert IVAgeing Support (Or equivalent qualification, including current nursing students)

Mandatory Requirements:
Applicantsmust have or be willing to obtain:
* Valid Victorian Drivers Licenceand access to a reliable, insured vehicle

* Up-to-date vaccinationsin accordance withUniting Agewell's Vaccination Policy
* Full Australian working rights
