Description About the Role Are you a Project Controller with a background in multi-discipline engineering design or consultancy? Do you hold an engineering (or related) qualification and excel in communication and people skills? Are you self-motivated, confident in your abilities, and driven to deliver results? If so, you could be an excellent fit for GPA’s Project Delivery team in our Perth office. Reporting to the WA Project Delivery Team Leader and working closely with Project Managers, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of projects. This is a permanent part-time position (3 days per week), offering work life balance and flexibility. Key Duties: You will provide project controls and scheduling services to GPA’s project managers and teams across a variety of resource industry projects. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and maintaining simple and complex project schedules in MS Project Scheduling engineering projects using full logic and resource loading Monitoring and analysing costs/budgets, resources, utilisation and overall project performance Identifying critical issues and providing solutions Preparing clear and concise progress reports: actual costs, earned value, s-curves Tracking project deliverables and maintenance of project registers Assisting with creation of scope changes Document control for various local and national projects Assisting with tender and proposal preparation General project administration. Skills And Experiences Depending on the capability and organisational fit of the candidate, GPA will consider an entry level candidate who is willing to be trained in the role or an experienced candidate who is ready to start. Related multi-discipline Engineering/Design experience and a related tertiary qualification. Advanced skills in MS Office, Experience with MS Project, Primavera or similar. Demonstrated ability as a logical thinker, planner, task focused. Familiar with complex schedules, time constrains, resource allocations, risk and opportunities. High attention to detail and super organised. Good verbal and written communications skills. An understanding of confidentiality and discretion. Previous experience working in a team environment. Skills in building relationships with internal and external clients. A mindset focused on solutions and customer service.
