THE OPPORTUNITY
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Production Team Member based in Ormeau. This position involves working as part of our Manufacturing team.
This is a full-time role, afternoon shift role (2:36pm - 10:42pm), working Monday – Friday .
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with team members, other departments and projects as required
- Interpret product drawings
- Manufacturing and assembling of goods to customer's requirements
- Operating metal folding, roll form and pressing machines for our metal products
- Participate in training for specific items of plant and equipment
- Strict adherence to critical safety rules & contributing to a safe working environment
ABOUT YOU
- Essential – problem solving and inquisitive mindset to learn Stratco products
- Essential – strength and fitness to undertake a frequent movement and lifting role
- Desirable – prior experience with metal processing machinery and techniques (e.g. SWI Operation, RAS operator, Brake-Press, SliNet, Blanking, Guilotine etc)
- Basic awareness of safety standards and alertness of moving parts & people
- Whilst experience is great, it'll be your passion, reliable attitude and personality that set you apart
- Willingness to enhance the customer experience by working with enthusiasm, energy, and pace
