Job Title: Aged Care Quality Assurance Specialist
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated quality assurance specialist to join our team. This vital role will support our aged care homes across Cairns, driving quality care and continuous improvement.
This position will:
* Monitor implementation of quality strategies, governance frameworks, and quality plans across our homes.
* Develop and deliver quality dashboards and metrics with clinical teams to drive continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards.
* Interpret new national quality and legislative guidance ensuring effective local implementation and policy management.
* Provide expert advice on quality compliance and governance to senior leaders fostering a culture of best practice and risk management.
You are a Registered Nurse with a strong focus for clinical governance ideally in aged care. If you have NDIS quality assurance experience that would be a bonus.
About You
* You are a Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* You have advanced knowledge of the Aged Care industry relevant legislation regulations standards and industry trends.
* You demonstrated experience in quality risk and governance.
* You have a comprehensive understanding of the Aged Care Common Standards Disability Services Standards and NDIS Human Services Quality Framework Aged Care Accreditation and Quality Agency and a sound knowledge of and sensitivity to the range of issues impacting upon vulnerable people and their support networks.
* You have demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders including service users families co-agencies and funding bodies.
* You have a valid Australian drivers licence.
