Grade 3 Occupational Therapist, Trauma and Orthopaedics
Salary: AUD 80,000 - 100,000.
Location: Bayside Health campuses (Alfred, Caulfield, Sandringham Hospitals).
Responsibilities
* Undertake clinical caseload in Trauma, Orthopaedics and Acquired Brain Injury.
* Lead the occupational therapy team in early rehabilitation, return to occupational performance and complex discharge planning.
* Provide high‐quality inpatient assessment and intervention.
* Lead teaching, training and quality improvement activities across the Occupational Therapy Service, Allied Health directorate and clinical programme.
* Represent Allied Health on allocated committees.
* Supervise and mentor junior OT staff, Allied Health Assistants and occupational therapy students.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor of Applied Science (OT), Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, or recognised equivalent.
* Post‐graduate qualification (Master's level) in Occupational Therapy, Public Health, Research or Health Management, or currently pursuing.
* Full registration held with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (via AHPRA).
* Member of OT Australia (or eligible for membership).
* Minimum seven years of clinical experience (desired).
* Experience in neurological occupational therapy, including cognitive assessment, intervention and discharge planning (desired).
* Demonstrated skills in clinical supervision and teaching (desired).
