About Our Role
Support the Commercial Lending staff by performing a variety of duties related to the processing, administration, and closing of new and existing commercial and real estate loans.
Deal directly with customers concerning their credit and deposit relationship with the bank. Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving routine problems in a professional, courteous manner.
We are seeking an experienced individual who is proficient in basic computer operations, Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and able to type efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, organization skills, and a can-do attitude.
The successful candidate will be required to sit for an extended period with some walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. They will also be responsible for occasional light lifting not over 25 lbs.
Key Responsibilities
* Record new applications, loans, and deposit accounts.
* Communicate directly with customers concerning their relationship with the bank; answer customer inquiries and resolve routine problems.
* Obtain customer credit information and ensure sufficient loan collateral.
* Monitor past due loans and overdraft accounts.
* Prepare periodic loan and credit reports.
* Review and file forms and documents.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree preferred.
* Two years of banking administration experience.
* A valid driver's license.
* Satisfactory credit and criminal background check.
