Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate Package Consultant at IBM, you will assist clients in selecting, implementing, and supporting application packaged solutions such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, or SharePoint to meet their needs.
Using a growth mindset, you'll deliver business value wherever required.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting clients with selection, implementation, and support of packages
Making strategic recommendations and leveraging business knowledge to drive solutions
Facilitating workshops, meetings, and stakeholder interviews
Developing process maps for As-Is and To-Be scenarios
Applying IBM's Design Thinking to solve client challenges
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Australian Citizen
Ability to translate business solutions into technical requirements
Openness to assist clients in design, business architecture, process development, functional implementation, and support
Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic, technology-driven consulting environment
A passion for innovative ideas and understanding diverse perspectives
Exceptional quantitative analysis skills with data-informed recommendations
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
Basic understanding of SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with business process modeling and documentation
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Experience in SAP environments through internships or coursework
Experience with data analysis tools and techniques
Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data analysis
Exposure to SAP ERP systems and modules
Basic SQL and database concepts understanding
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
