About the role
Due to internal movement, an prospect has arisen for a Senior Finance Analyst – Ingredients to join our Commercial team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. As the Senior Finance Analyst – Ingredients, you will provide commercial analysis and acumen to help provide commercial support for the Ingredients business unit. Key responsibilities include:
- Perform variance analysis and provide month‑end insights for the Ingredients business unit to the broader commercial team.
- Track opportunities and deliver monthly reporting, including updates for sales meetings.
- Deliver long‑range financial forecasts and budgets, including sensitivity analysis and process improvements.
- Prepare financial reports and provide adhoc analysis to support business decisions.
- Commercial support for new product development as required.
- Assist with foreign currency transactions, including hedging activities, and ensure compliance with foreign exchange policies.
- Maintain accurate financial data and resolve discrepancies.
- Support strategic projects as required.

About You
Critical to your success in this role will be your ability to relate to, communicate with, a wide range of stakeholders and to understand the issues facing them. You will have extensive knowledge of financial and analytical techniques including the range of specific technical skills, knowledge and competencies required to execute core financial and commercial processes. You will also have:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commercial or financial management or other relevant discipline.
- CA/CPA is preferred or you are working towards it.
- 3‑5 years minimum experience in commercial roles.
- Dairy / FMCG experience will be highly advantageous.
- Strong Excel modelling and written skills.
- Strong ability to assimilate and analyse complex information from disparate sources and provide sound, well‑reasoned decisions.
