We are seeking an experienced and motivated Grade 3 Pharmacy Lead Technician to join our dynamic and supportive pharmacy team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a leadership role within a modern, rapidly growing hospital in the Hunter region.
About The Role
The Lead Dispensary Technician provides advanced technical support within the hospital dispensary, ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality supply of medications. You will play a key role in supporting pharmacy operations while contributing to service improvement and team leadership.
Working closely with pharmacists and technicians across Maitland, Kurri Kurri, and Cessnock Hospitals, you will help deliver exceptional, patient-centred care in a fast-paced yet supportive environment.
You Will
Provide advanced technical and operational support within the hospital dispensary
Ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication supply services
Support and guide pharmacy technicians, contributing to team development and workflow efficiency
Collaborate with pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams to support high-quality patient care
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and best-practice processes

Requirements
Completion of a nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course at Certificate Level IV, or has qualifications deemed by the employer to be equivalent.
