Management Consultant
The position
The position is responsible for generating business growth and development through the execution of the technologies solutions and recruitment divisions objectives by developing and improving new and current operating models with clients and internal staff and drive efficiencies to contribute positively to the goal of growing the business in market share, customer satisfaction, revenue and gross profit (quarterly and annually), in accordance with the divisions strategic objectives.
The position is responsible for achieving business (and personal) targets through:
- Developing and executing client and internal organisational and operational improvement plans
- Providing leadership in business efficiency

Main Accountabilities

Strategy development and execution
- Research industry delivery models, concepts and innovation to ensure the divisions consulting services are current and competitive
- Act as consulting lead or delivery manager for key client consulting and project delivery engagements to implement proposed solutions.
- Champion the process from a key clients perspective and work with Division Head in the preparation of new business tenders and pitch presentations, including solution design and the creation of new or improved client delivery models.
Operational management and continual improvement planning
- Drive the adoption of agile methodologies and lead monthly retrospectives to generate CIP's
- Champion client and consultant satisfaction through analysis of NPS surveys and generate appropriate strategies to improve overall NPS
- Conduct quarterly reviews with key clients to discuss current levels of performance, existing operating models and potential improvements or innovations to improve
- Manage and own customer implementations plans for new customers and improvement and efficiency plans for existing customers
- Prepare and recommend proposals to alter operating procedures, delivery models and job functions to drive constant improvement
- Lead and manage the induction of consultants to ensure business and client plans have been achieved, and regularly review induction programs to cater for changes in operating models.
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to teams and consultants to ensure that they perform to the maximum of their abilities.
- Assess and address training needs of consultants to support personal development plans.
- Provide regular communication to staff to update them on industry developments, business priorities and client progress and to create a positive working environment.
Client development and management
- Participate in growing existing business through improving customer engagement and increasing customer satisfaction.
- Research the competitive landscape and set key strategies for the positioning of Randstad's service offerings across consulting, projects, staff augmentation and recruitment.
- Conduct "as-is" and "to-be" analysis of client and internal service offerings and project delivery.
- Ensure operational and client strategy is synergistic with corporate business goals and objectives and facilitates the delivery of successful consulting engagements.
- Maintain and develop industry networks to ensure high Randstad profile
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients to ensure a good understanding of their current and future priorities and to identify new leads within the Randstad Group
Experience
- Management consulting experience - 2 years minimum experience
- Consistent record of client engagement, with experience of engaging customers around consulting and delivery strategies
- Passion for driving and owning continual improvement plans with clients and operations
- Knowledge and/or experience of the IT sector and IT service business models
- Solution design and project execution experience with key clients
- Consultant leadership and onboarding experience
- Strong communications skills and excellent stakeholder engagement
- Literacy, numeracy and IT ability
