Business Growth Specialist
Sphera is a leading global provider of enterprise software and services that enable companies to manage and optimize environmental, health, safety and sustainability.
This full-time position offers a base salary plus commission and is fully remote, aligned with sales executives in the region.
The role supports our fast-growing sales team in Australia/New Zealand by proactively seeking new business opportunities through outbound calling, engaging customers, consulting, and setting appointments for our global sales force.
Responsibilities
* Proactively pursue new business opportunities via outbound calls to engage, consult, and schedule appointments for field Sales Executives.
* Focus on outbound campaigns and development activities (calls, emails, social media) and promptly follow up on marketing inquiries.
* Leverage consultative sales methodologies to analyze prospect businesses and address evolving automation needs.
* Develop and manage a follow-up cadence to nurture leads not ready to buy.
* Participate in training sessions to stay current on Sphera solutions, sales practices, and industry developments.
* Achieve daily activity and sales targets consistently.
Requirements
* Thriving in a fast-paced, self-directed inside sales environment.
* Experience working with clients in sales-oriented settings; phone selling and cold calling experience preferred.
* Dynamic personality with strong verbal and written communication skills; confident outreach to potential clients.
* Adaptable and able to think on your feet when faced with new challenges.
* Bachelor's degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent work experience.
* 1+ year of sales experience; track record in solution-based selling highly valued.
* Software/SaaS product sales experience and B2B sales experience preferred.
* Self-motivated, high-energy individual capable of thriving in a competitive yet fun team environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools highly valued.
