Job Description Customer Supply Chain Support Location: 1601 W 37th Ave, Hobart, IN 46342
Shift: Part-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm
Hours: 10 - 28 hours/week
Overview As a Part-time Customer Supply Chain Support, you will support the customer's supply chain to enhance onsite business performance. This entry-level role offers a foundation in customer relationship management and operations, with potential for flexible scheduling after onboarding and training.
Responsibilities Responding and coordinating resources for customer requests Managing inventory Placing and fulfilling orders Receiving and shipping inventory Executing inventory fulfillment at the customer site Sourcing and quoting products Participating in continuous improvement activities and implementing new processes Reporting the value of supply chain activities to the customer Required Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Currently pursuing or possessing a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or equivalent experience Excellent communication skills Proficient in computer skills Strong math skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency Motivated, self-directed, customer service oriented Comfortable in a sales-oriented environment Aligned with core values of ambition, innovation, integrity, and teamwork Ability to lift packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 75 lbs Pass drug screening (US, Puerto Rico, Guam) Preferred Qualifications Valid driver's license and meeting driving record requirements Interest in career growth About Us Since 1967, Fastenal has grown from a single branch to a Fortune 500 company with over 3,000 locations, providing tailored inventory and service.
