About the role:
We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Motor Mechanic to join their busy team as their business continues to grow. This role will allow you to utilise your skills and experience to provide service, maintenance, and repairs to a wide range of vehicles. The job is full time, and ongoing.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide first rate servicing and repairs to a wide range of vehicles.
- Identify mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes and brake inspections, as well as more complex repairs like engine rebuilds, transmission overhauls and replacing worn or damaged parts.
- Diagnose and assess tyre damage and wear.
- Adhere to safety standards, following safety protocols and industry standards to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper disposal of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
You should be able to demonstrate the following attributes and strengths to be considered:
- Demonstrated passion towards the automotive industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly relevant trade qualifications (minimum Certificate IV or agreed equivalent)
- At least 3 years post training professional experience.
- Solid references.
- A can-do attitude and team spirit.
- Great time management skills
You must have unrestricted full time Australian working rights to be considered.
