Position: Qualified Chef | Experienced Cook (Hospitality & Tourism)

Hours on offer: 32.50 hours per week minimum
Hourly rate: $33.38 to 37.35 per hour (Grade 3 to Grade 6 under the Amusement, Events and Recreation award)

Wing's Wildlife Park is a family owned & operated tourist attraction offering a multi award-winning wildlife park, camping ground, accommodation units and country style café. Wing's Wildlife Park has been operating for over 30 years and provides the ideal spot to relax and enjoy nature and let the worries of the world drift on by. We operate 7 days pw including public holidays (closed Christmas day and Anzac day).
Job Description:
* Bring your passion for food to life at 80 Acres Café.
* We are looking for a passionate and talented Qualified Chef | Experienced Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a creative flair, excellent cooking skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, cook and present meals according to our menu and standards.
* Create new dishes to enhance and diverse our menu offerings.
* Catering for various group bookings.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations to the highest standard.
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
* Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.
* Barista Skill is an advantage.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role, minimum 2 years.
* A love of working with food and people (both colleagues and customers).
* Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (TAS) or able to obtain it prior to starting date.
* Food Safety Supervisor Skill Set (SITSS00069) or able to obtain it prior to starting date. Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards.
* Physical fitness for lifting and standing.
* Available to work between the hours of 9.30 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Sunday including Public Holidays or days as agreed with the Manager. No split shifts.
