We are seeking an organised and capable HR Administrator, to support our HR Manager and national management team. This role will play a key part in delivering efficient HR operations, providing timely administrative support, and ensuring a positive experience across the full employee lifecycle.
We are entering an exciting new phase of growth, including the implementation of a new HRIS that will transform how we manage, support and engage our people.
The role is initially based in Niddrie, with flexibility to work from our retail and warehouse office locations. A hybrid working model will be available following completion of training and induction.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high volume, day-to-day generalist HR administrative support, including preparation of employment contracts, contract variations and HR documentation.
* Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, and maintain the national Working with Children Check register.
* Assist the HR Manager with coaching and employee relations matters.
* Assist in conducting fair, balanced and thorough workplace investigations.
* Support recruitment processes, including drafting job advertisements, coordinating advertising placements, and assisting with shortlisting.
* Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation across VIC, NSW, SA, TAS, NT, ACT and QLD.
* Support WHS processes including updating our injuries register, coordinating Workers Compensation claims, and monitoring legislative updates.
* Assist in driving oganisational change initiatives, including process improvements, system implementation and role transitions.
* Support compliance registrations and submissions including, WGEA, Ethical Clothing Accreditation, Modern Slavery reporting, SEDEX and partner school portals.
* Provide comprehensive administration support to the HR Manager while assisting in the execution of HR projects and initiatives.
* Assist the HR Manager across all phases of the HRIS implementation project.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (essential).
* 1 - 3 years' experience in a high-volume HR Administrator role– preferably within a fast-paced retail or warehouse environment (desirable, not essential).
* A positive attitude and resilience, with an understanding that supporting people through change and conflict is part of the role.
* High levels of integrity, professionalism and discretion, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused mindset.
* Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Confidence working both autonomously and collaboratively, and hold a proactive and adaptable approach to change and continuous improvement.
