Role Detail
Our Brisbane office is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Casual Business Services Clerk/Receptionist to join our dynamic Business Services team.
As a key part of the firm's daily operations, the Business Services team is often the first point of contact for clients, visitors and staff. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication and organisational skills who is looking to step into a fast-paced corporate law firm environment.
We also welcome candidates from retail or hospitality backgrounds who are keen to transition into professional services - your customer service experience will be highly valued.
This is a casual position with a Monday to Friday work week, hours will be offered based on the business needs.
In this role, your day-to-day will include:
* Greeting clients at reception
* Answering calls, booking meeting rooms and confirming catering
* Managing the reception inbox and responding to general enquiries
* Coordinating couriers and deliveries
* Document production (printing, copying, scanning, binding)
* Managing incoming and outgoing mail
* Assisting visitors and conducting office tours
* Archiving and general facilities support
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
* Exceptional internal and external customer service skills
* An understanding of reception and front-of-house operations, ideally supported by experience in a corporate, hospitality, or professional services environment
* A confident and professional telephone manner
* Strong prioritisation abilities and excellent attention to detail
* A flexible and adaptable approach to hours and responsibilities
* Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation and with external stakeholders
* Demonstrated customer service experience and/or relevant training
* Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft applications
* A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a cohesive team
