Responsibilities:
 * Perform electrical and instrumentation commissioning, pre-commissioning, and maintenance tasks on gas plant systems and equipment.
 * EEHA Certified: Ensure compliance with Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) standards when working in hazardous environments, including performing inspections and testing.
 * System Integration: Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate electrical and instrumentation systems, ensuring seamless operation of plant equipment.
 * Troubleshooting & Fault Finding: Diagnose and resolve electrical and instrumentation faults during the commissioning phase, ensuring minimal downtime.
 * Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of commissioning activities, test results, and system configurations for compliance and operational handover.
 * Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards, ensuring safe work practices in accordance with company policies and Australian regulations.
 * Preventative Maintenance: Conduct pre-commissioning checks, identify potential issues, and perform corrective actions to ensure optimal plant performance.
 * Site Support: Provide on-site support during project installation, integration, and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation systems, working closely with contractors and vendors.
Skill Requirements:
 * Dual Trade Qualification: Qualified as both an Electrician and Instrumentation Technician with extensive hands-on experience in industrial commissioning.
 * EEHA Certification: Certified in Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA), with experience working in hazardous environments.
 * Experience in Gas Plants: Previous experience working on gas plants or similar industrial facilities, with a solid understanding of plant operations and systems.
 * Electrical & Instrumentation Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical control systems, instrumentation, process control, PLCs, and DCS systems.
 * Problem Solving & Analytical Skills: Ability to quickly diagnose issues, implement solutions, and provide technical guidance

Pay: $59.33 – $69.42 per hour
