About the role:
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager to join us at our Plumpton Villa home in Glenroy. This position is hands-on and will contribute and deliver to the leadership and management of clinical care and service delivery, to ensure desired care outcomes are achieved for our residents. This role will be instrumental in ensuring our residents are receiving best practice person centred care.
What You Will Do:
* Deliver and provide person-centred clinical care
* Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the Aged Care standards, funding and policy
* Show leadership ability to be independent and support the leadership team
* Deliver on Clinical Governance reporting and requirements
* Improve and adhere to quality systems and processes
* Ensure the Home is compliant with all standards as mandated by ACSQC
What You Will Bring:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Clinical Management role in Aged Care
* Exceptional leadership ability to support the team
* Thorough understanding of aged care standards and accreditation requirements
* Working knowledge and understanding of AN-ACC
* Previous experience working in a memory support unit (desirable)
* Ability to drive quality and continuous improvement
* Energetic and enthusiastic approach to influence and lead by example
* Current AHPRA registration
* NDIS check and full working rights in Australia
