THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join the team in an office-based role focused on insurance repairs. You will be responsible for preparing accurate desktop and virtual estimates using advanced software, while supporting the team with technical queries, variations, trades negotiations, and the overall repair process. This position plays a key part in ensuring projects move smoothly from estimation to execution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Prepare accurate desktop quotes and virtual assessments for insurance repairs using estimating software (Prime Eco system)
* Provide technical support on estimating, Make Safe, variations, and repairs processes
* Assess and manage variations to initial estimates, considering changes in scope or unforeseen circumstances
* Negotiate with trades and contractors to achieve cost-effective outcomes without compromising quality
* Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure smooth transition from estimating to delivery
* Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
* Stay up to date with relevant estimating tools, systems, and industry best practice
ABOUT YOU
* Proven experience in insurance estimating (desktop or on-site)
* Solid technical knowledge of Make Safe, variations, and repair processes
* Insurance and/or construction background required
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with both office and field teams
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to accurate and timely delivery
* Ability to negotiate effectively with trades and contractors
* Experience with the Prime Eco system highly regarded
