As a Registered Nurse - Oncology, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide evidenced based nursing care including a comprehensive assessment of patients receiving chemotherapy/immunotherapy as well as other infusions for conditions such as Crohn’s and MS.
- Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
- Ensure patient and staff safety
- Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

About You
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Working with Children check
- Ideally 3 years of nursing experience with some understanding of oncology and haematology nursing care.
- Ideally experience administering cytotoxic chemotherapy and/or related cancer treatments
- Competency in PICC, PORT, IV Cannulation and phlebotomy skills or working towards
- ADAC qualification, CVAD management experience and high level computer literacy
- Commitment to Quality Patient Care
- Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
- Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Works well independently and within a team
- Basic computer skills
