About the role
Our Assistant Store Managers support the Store Managers in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the retail arm and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, especially when the Store Manager is not on shift. Assistant Store Managers collaborate closely with our Optometrists to deliver a superior customer experience and set a positive example for store team members, helping them resolve less complex problems.
About the person
This role suits people from retail and healthcare backgrounds. Optical industry experience is helpful but not essential. We look for effective, caring leaders who are organized, able to think on their feet, and capable of making decisions that support our brand’s growth.
* Minimum 3 years of robust experience in customer-facing sales roles.
* Experience supervising staff and delivering on‑site training to junior team members.
* Ability to build meaningful, long‑term relationships with customers.
* Collaborative, consultative teamwork and leadership style.
