This is a permanent part-time (0.5FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2025. At Rivervale Primary School (PS) we place great emphasis on the academic, social and emotional well-being of students. The Role
We are looking for a team leader with sound communication skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for organising and supervising cleaning staff. They will need a sound knowledge of all machinery, equipment and cleaning products. They will liaise with the Manager Corporate Services on cleaning matters, and record and respond to issues and concerns detailed in the Communication Book.
They will provide on-the-job induction training for new cleaning staff, maintain the cleaners/' time-book, report absences and arrange relief staff. They will undertake cleaning of allocated internal and external areas, including emptying rubbish containers into the school/'s waste disposal system.
Eligibility and Safety
To work with us, you will need to:
- obtain a valid Working With Children Check.
- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start.
- be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
