EMJC Earthmoving & Plant Hire has been operating since 2008, providing earthmoving plant for hire, heavy haulage and maintenance solutions for the mining, civil and construction industry.
The Opportunity
With branches located in Perth, Newman, Karratha and an onsite team in Collie, an opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and experienced Transport Scheduler - Heavy Haulage to join the team based in Hazelmere.
With a key purpose of maximising utilisation across the fleet, core responsibilities of the role include:-
* Managing the transport schedule including sourcing loads and allocating transport equipment and personnel to suit.
* Communicating and liaising with clients including business development and preparation and submission of approved quotes for heavy haulage loads.
* Communicating and liaising with drivers, pilots and logistics team including prepping and sharing journey data.
* Organising and maintaining permit requirements.
* Processing paperwork and systems to ensure compliance with all aspects of heavy haulage accreditation, fatigue management and similar.
* Collating and preparing jobs to enable accurate billing.
* Administrative tasks including onboarding processes.
* Minimum 3+ years' experience in similar position.
* In depth knowledge of heavy haulage loads, combinations, permits, accreditations and similar.
* Strong work health and safety knowledge including fatigue management requirements.
* Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to manage and adapt to changing demands.
