Level/Salary: MP Year 1-9 $352,448 - $448,210 p.a. pro rata (inclusive of base salary and applicable allowances)

Work Type: Fixed Term - Part Time, Permanent - Part Time

We are seeking suitable applications from highly capable and values-driven medical professionals to join our dynamic Medical Education Unit team at Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group (SCGOPHCG).

This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Part Time and Fixed Term Part Time appointments. Fixed Term appointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur until 29 January 2027.

Role

What is our Director Medical Education role?

This position leads the development and implementation of Medical Education at Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group (SCGOPHCG) to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of medical education for all medical staff in prevocational (Interns, Resident Medical Officers), vocational (Registrars, Senior Registrars, Fellows & Consultants) and service positions. The role develops innovative medical education strategies based on best practice ensuring preparation for practice across a wide range of hospital and community-based professions and contributing to continuing excellence in practice delivering safe, evidence based care; and ensures SCGOPHCG remains a centre of excellence and leader in medical education.
