Our AFS business is a leader in innovative walling solutions for the construction industry. Based at our Minto site, this is a fast-paced manufacturing environment where safety, quality and teamwork are front and centre.
We are currently looking for Production Operators to join the team on day shift, supporting key production and manufacturing activities across the site.
About The Role
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you'll play a hands-on role in keeping production running efficiently and safely. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality, and thrives in a team-based environment.
You'll be working Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm, offering consistency and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate plant and equipment to meet daily production targets
* Manually remove the panels from conveyors and pack them.
* Manually pick and pack corners assemblies.
* Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions
* Monitor product quality and identify defects and document checks.
* Carry out basic troubleshooting and support maintenance activities
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
* Contribute to safety initiatives and continuous improvement
About You
* Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Forklift licence preferred but not essential
* Strong focus on safety and doing things the right way
* Good attention to detail and quality standards
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
* Mechanically minded with a practical, hands-on approach
* Reliable, punctual and a strong team player
* Clear communication skills
