Nqpetro is a well-established Australian company providing installation, maintenance and service provider to retail/commercial/industrial/mining petroleum customers and associated industries.
We're looking for an experienced Stores Person for our Cairns warehouse operations and to support stock processes across our branches.
The Role
You'll take ownership of stock control, purchasing and inventory accuracy. You'll work hands-on with our Cairns warehouse while providing support to other offices and regional locations.
Key tasks include:
* Managing stock levels and purchasing
* Overseeing inventory accuracy and rotation
* Conducting stocktakes and resolving discrepancies
* Assisting goods dispatch, goods receipting and purchase order checks
* Maintaining accurate system data and reporting
About You
* Proven experience in stock control, purchasing and warehouse coordination/management
* Forklift licence required
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Demonstrated experience with inventory systems and Microsoft Office 365
* Practical, solutions-focused and able to work independently
* Experience in industrial, fabrication or construction environments is a plus
This is a hands-on warehousing role with responsibility and scope to improve processes in a growing business.
