ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Facade Engineer, you will be undertaking investigations, analysis design of facades projects; and to assist in support to the Project Manager.
Key responsibilities
* Coordinate, track and run assigned projects
* Assist with preparation of project plans
* Assist with provision of technical advice to colleagues, contractors and client
* Assist with the review the work of Graduate Engineers for technical correctness
* Check designs, information, drawings and documentation related to assigned projects
* Undertake site visits, inspections and provide technical advice relating to construction work on site
* Carry out structural and thermal design of façades
* Review drawings and calculations
* Produce F3 reports
* Attending inspections during construction, installation and fabrication
* Preparation of engineering reports
* Undertake components of design, e.g. Structural, Thermal, Corrosion risk assessments etc
* Work closely with the facade engineering team
* Develop and maintain client relationships

ABOUT YOU
* Minimum 3 years' experience practising in a relevant engineering field essential
* Experience with computer software packages such as Strand7, Space Gass, THERM, WINDOW, WUFI
* Ability to write reports
* Knowledge of WHS Acts/Legislation desirable
* Knowledge of Environment Legislation desirable
* Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain client relationships
* Strong communication skills
Qualifications
* University/Tertiary degree or Equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia
* Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia with the aim to work towards CPEng
